Attorney Steven Mitchell Sack has been retained by the Eastern Winter Sports Reps Association, Inc. (EWSRA) throughout the 2013 year.
As the son of an apparel representative, Mr. Sack knows the challenges and obstacles many independent representatives face in their industry. He saw his father’s struggles, which empowered him to become an advocate for sales representatives throughout the United States.
Founded more than 40 years ago as the Eastern Ski Reps Association, EWSRA is a non-profit professional trade organization made up of over 250 independent sales representatives who represent ski, snowboard, outdoor and action-related products. EWSRA is devoted to the advancement of the ski, snowboard, outdoor and action industry, with the intention of bringing retailers and sales representatives together in a neutral environment to see next year’s product offerings and place orders.
“We are glad to retain Mr. Sack as our counsel for our group,” said Linda Irwin, Executive Director, EWSRA. “Mr. Sack’s experience will provide the protections and assistance needed for our traveling sales representatives, especially in an uncertain economy.”
“I am honored to have been retained by this well-respected organization,” stated Mr. Sack. “With the hard work and dedication I will provide to both of the EWSRA, I will help ensure that these sales representatives who invested their time establishing territories and building up client lists receive the compensation and respect they deserve.”
Mr. Sack has focused on employment matters for sales representatives for more than 30 years. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of SUNY at Stony Brook University and Boston College Law School and has decades of experience working with outdoor products, apparel and footwear industries.
